let´s check their ups and downs one by one for a more accurate and easy choice .

iWALK TWS Wireless Earbuds

The iWALK earbuds feature simple controls
The iWALK earbuds feature simple controls

The iWALK earbuds provide a simple experience for you and your Chromebook. They may not look like the flashiest earbuds, but that’s the point. They’re perfect for somber work at home or in the office.

Construction and Case

The iWALK buds come with a few accessories like three extra sets of ear caps and a USB charging cable. It’s a little large to fit in your pocket, but it’ll nicely fit in your bag or backpack. The buds and the case are IPX5 water resistant, which means they’re essentially splash proof, not immersion proof. The control scheme is pretty standard. You can press the button on the earbuds once to either play or pause, hang up or answer calls.

Connectivity

Wireless pairing is a breeze on these. All you have to do is charge them and remove them from the case. Not only do they have True Wireless 2.0 built in, but Bluetooth 5.0. This means very low lag. That’s going to come in handy when you’re watching movies on your Chromebook after a hard day’s work.

Battery

With a 2,500 mAh battery, the buds can give you five hours of uninterrupted listening time. That’s enough for a morning and evening commute, and a full day of work. It’s also enough for a week’s worth of workouts.

Sound Quality

For the price range, the iWALK earbuds have decent sound quality. The highs are clear and clean, which is the point. If you’re a fan of 70s music and some 80s boppers, you’ll find that these are perfect for you. However, if you’re listening to modern music the highs and lows can get a little muddled.

Final Verdict

The iWALK earbuds are a basic package which will give you decent quality for the price. However, they’re not for those that want the premium experience.

JBL Under Armor FLASH In-Ear Headphones

The charging case on the JBL FLASH Earbuds is big
The JBL FLASH Earbuds

The JBL FLASH Earbuds are one of the best wireless earbuds for Chromebooks

Charging Case and Construction

The bulky charging case may put some people off, but it’s actually one of the best features of the buds. It looks like a chamber right out of Ridley Scott’s Alien and the buds are no different. They have a late 70s, or early 80s feel to them that’s very nostalgic in the best way.

They’re really great earbuds to go along with a space-age Chromebook. They also include three different sized sports tips and fins (Flex Ear Tips) for ears of all sizes. They’re also waterproof with an IPX7 rating. So you can submerge them in about 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Connectivity

The Bluetooth connectivity is pretty standard with minimal hiccups during morning commutes. You also get basic controls which allow you to pause and play tracks with a single tap of the right earbud. Double tapping the button advances tracks and holding the button down on the left bud calls Google Assistant.

Battery

With a mAh battery, listening will last you up to 5 hours. There’s even a 12-month MapMyRun Premium Membership when you purchase these buds. If you’re an exercise nut, this’ll come in handy. It’ll track your steps and other metrics like stride length and distance.

Sound Quality

The sound quality is perhaps better than most other earbuds in its class. The Jabra Elite 65t don’t even get as good as these do.

Final Verdict

If you’re looking for decent sound quality and decent performance, the JBL FLASH earbuds are for you.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+

The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus are getting a lot of recognition
The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus

Like the AirPods for iPhone and the Pixel Buds for the Google Pixel, Samsung has released its own wireless earbuds. The Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus are the second iteration of the Samsung wireless earphones and they improve on a lot.

Construction and Case

The case of the Buds Plus is all plastic and feels cheap. However, it keeps the earphones lightweight and comfortable. The earbuds have a premium feel though and they’re IPX2 water resistant.

Battery

The battery on these is phenomenal. You get 12 hours of uninterrupted listening time on the Galaxy buds plus on a single charge. That’s enough to get you through the day and then some. The charging speed is pretty fast too. 15 minutes of charging gets you nearly 2 hours of listening time. Also included is Qi wireless charging, although you’ll get faster charging with the cable.

Connectivity

Supplied with Bluetooth 5.0, a Scalable Samsung Codec, AAC, and great Mic Quality, the Buds Plus are a complete package. Whether you want to listen to music, watch a movie, listen to a Zoom call, etc. you’re covered from start to finish.

Final Verdict

With Spotify integration and better battery life, these would be great for any Chromebook user. They also include Qi wireless charging and better mic quality for video calls. These are the buds to buy if you’re completely new to the wireless earphones market.

Jabra Elite Active 65t Earbuds

The Jabra Elite 65t are often regarded as premium earphones
Jabra Elite 65t

The Jabra Elite 65t are often touted as one of the best wireless earbuds for chromebooks. And they are. For those that want a little more premium experience, they’re incredible for the price.

Construction and Case

You get three different sized ear tips for different sized ears and the buds stay secure in your ear. The tight seal help maximize bass response. The Jabra Elite 65t charging case is also something special. It delivers two extra charges. While it’s not as compact as the Airpods case, it will fit snugly into your pocket. It’s perfect to help them last all day for your Chromebook.

Connectivity

The Jabra Elite 65t provide Bluetooth 5.0 and create a stable wireless connection. There are nearly no connection dropouts.

Battery

While the battery life is middling compared to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus, it’s still enough. It’ll get you through a normal day on the Chromebook with 5 hours of listening time.

Sound Quality

You’re not going to get better sound quality than this, except perhaps on the JBLs.

Final Verdict

Buy these if you want a premium experience and don’t look back.

Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 True Wireless Earbuds

Anker Soundcore Life Dot 2 True Wireless Earbuds
Anker’s wireless earbuds

Anker’s wireless earbuds are great for the price among other things.

Construction and Case

The case is big, but plain. It’s not the same design as the JBL FLASH. However, the case can hold enough juice for about 100 hours of playback. You also get a selection of ear tips to fit in your ears.

Connectivity

These still use Bluetooth 4.2 so they’re a bit disappointing in that regard. The integrated mic is nothing to sneeze at, but nothing to celebrate either.

Battery

Battery life is middling at 7 hours with an addition charge of 12.5 hours in the battery case. However, you can get only playback for about 100 hours with the case.

Sound Quality

Audio leakage is phenomenal, but quality and noise isolation don’t go beyond a certain point. You’ll hear calls and music pretty clearly.

Final Verdict

The Anker buds are a mixed bag. However, for the price, they deliver decent performance.

Our Recommendation

Out of the entire list, the buds that we recommend for first-time buyers are the Galaxy Buds Plus. They’ve got everything from great sound quality, battery life, and mic quality. They’re amazing for both the professional and the novice Chromebook users.

However, if you want to go one step beyond, there’s no better alternative than the Jabra Elite 65t. They’ve got a great sound quality and battery life, and they’re fully sweat-resistant for that long commute home.
